Femtogrid's first birthday

Femtogrid celibrated it's first birtday on the 14th of june 2011. Although the 'Femtogrid' ideology was already born in 2007 it took three more years to establish Femtogrid Energy Solutions BV on the 14th of june, 2010. Founding father of the 'Femtogrid', Rob Schaacke, has lead the engineering proces. After one year of prototyping and fieldtesting:

• The Femtogrid Solar System can now be ordered
• The Femtogrid Inverter 2200 is certified for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom
• Femtogrid was nominated for the Smart Grid Innovation Award in january 2010
• 8 Fieldtest have been executed with partnering system integrators during the period Q3/2010-Q1/2011
• Femtogrid has received funding by the venture capitalist E2Cleantech1 in september 2010
• Femtogrid has been granted the SBIR-IPZ by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture en Innovation (EL&I) in april 2011
• Femtogrid was nominated for the WNF Cleantech Star Award 2011 Top 6 in may 2011
• Femtogrid ranked no. 24 in the Dutch SME Innovation Top 100 in may 2011
