Femtogrid envisions that Module Level Power Management (MLPM) will become a dominant technology alongside traditional solar. Module level power management and in particular power optimizers overcome the limitations and weaknesses of traditional solar and ensure maximum energy, module level monitoring, maximum space utilization and voltage management for increased safety.
Module level power management consists of 2 categories. On the one hand, module level electronics consist of power optimizers, which are DC/DC converters and are used in either a parallel or a serial architecture. On the other hand, module level electronics consist of micro inverters, which are DC/AC inverters. We believe Femtogrid has a technological edge when compared to serial power optimizers as well as micro inverters, which results from the unique and patented technology used in our products.
